Job summary

Durucooperation is seeking an experienced E&I Inspector for onshore and offshore oil & gas projects in Qatar. The role focuses on hook-up, installation, testing, termination and recommissioning activities across HOOK-UP, HPU & TUTU systems, umbilical and fiber optic cable operations.

The candidate will inspect testing, verify cable terms, review QA records, and coordinate with project teams to ensure safe operation and adherence to procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as an E&I Inspector in onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.
• Hands-on experience with HOOK-UP activities.
• Experience in HPU and TUTU installation and testing.
• Experience in umbilical, composite cables and FOC laying, testing.
• Experience in recommissioning and related tests.
• Understanding of E&I installation inspection, testing and quality requirements.
• Ability to review drawings, specs and inspection docs.
• Willingness to work in Qatar onshore and offshore locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform E&I inspections for hook-up and installation activities across onshore and offshore facilities.
• Inspect and verify HOOK-UP installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Inspect cable laying, routing, installation, and termination of umbilical, cable and FOC.
• Witness cable tests: continuity, insulation resistance, optical tests.
• Inspect termination, glanding, dressing, tagging and connection activities.
• Verify installation against drawings and project QA/QC requirements.
• Review test records, certificates, checklists and quality docs.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support recommissioning and testing to ensure safe operation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, construction, commissioning and client teams.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and HSE.
