Qualifications

• Read blueprints or diagrams accurately.
• Knowledge of MIG/MAG/TIG/FCAW welding processes.
• Physically fit to stand or kneel for long periods.
• Ability to follow directions carefully.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and plans to determine welding techniques.
• Cut materials prior to welding.
• Operate welding equipment safely.
• Use oxy-acetylene torches for cutting and brazing when necessary.
• Inspect welds for quality control.
• Repair structures or equipment using welding techniques.
• Follow safety protocols when operating welding equipment.
