Job summary

Workato in Doha, Qatar is seeking a passionate Teacher to join our team. The role involves delivering quality education across subjects and building an engaging, respectful classroom environment.

You will plan lessons, employ diverse teaching methods, monitor student progress, and foster strong relationships with students, parents and staff. A Bachelor’s degree in Education is required; teaching certification is preferred for foreigners, who must be willing to obtain certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Teaching certification preferred but not required for foreign candidates; willingness to obtain certification is expected
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, parents and administration

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans, prepare teaching materials and classroom activities
• Teach students using a variety of methods including lectures, demonstration, role-playing and other active learning techniques
• Monitor students’ academic performance and social development
• Assess student progress by evaluating performance through tests, examinations and other activities
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
