Job summary

A leading oil and energy company is seeking a Material and Equipment Technician in Doha, Qatar. This full-time position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a Higher National Diploma, and valid certifications. The role involves maintenance, inspection, and collaborative work with contractors and vendors. Strong proficiency in English and a self-starter attitude are essential. The contract is expected to last 2 to 4 years.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Valid IMDG certificate required.
• Rigging & Lifting certification preferred.
• Computer literate with good command of English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks without close monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance for materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with vendors for efficient throughput.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE procedures.
• Act as a member of the emergency response team.
