Qualifications

• Proven experience as an excavator operator.
• Familiarity with operating excavators, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery.
• Ability to read plans/drawings accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operating excavators and other heavy machinery to dig trenches or move soil, rocks and other materials on construction sites.
• Observing safety standards at all times.
• Monitoring the work of apprentices and helpers on site.
• Following instructions from the supervisor or project manager at all times.
