Job summary

PPOAR in Doha, Qatar is seeking an Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate excavators to move earth on various construction projects in Doha and surrounding areas.

The role requires basic qualification and physical fitness; prior experience is preferred but not mandatory. Salary is provided monthly, with an emphasis on safety, reliability, and adherence to site instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating an excavator is preferred but not required.
• Ability to understand instructions from supervisors or managers.
• Good physical condition with no medical issues that would impede work performance.
• Dependable and reliable with excellent time management skills.
• Driver’s license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to efficiently perform excavation tasks such as digging trenches, ditches, and other construction-related activities.
• Follow instructions from the site supervisor or Manager.
• Ensure that all safety precautions are followed when operating the excavator.
• Maintain the excavator in good condition by performing regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating parts.
• Monitor the performance of the machine and identify any malfunctions or problems.
• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and applicable laws when operating the excavator.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Manager.
