Job summary

PPOAR in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Electrician to diagnose and repair electrical problems in domestic and industrial settings. The role requires reading diagrams, planning installations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience and a valid electrical license. You will operate testing equipment, install wiring for lighting and outlets, perform maintenance, keep records, and uphold local codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician.
• A valid license to practice as an electrician is mandatory.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical diagrams and follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan installations following electrical diagrams and install wiring systems for lighting and outlets.
• Assemble and install equipment and diagnose malfunctions with appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Maintain safety procedures and inspect work for accuracy after completion.
• Keep records of all work performed and ensure compliance with local electrical codes.
