Job summary

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure nutrition supports medical treatments, keep accurate records, and contribute to patient education and outreach materials on healthy eating.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required.
• RD certification preferred or advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' dietary needs and develop meal plans to meet individual dietary requirements.
• Advise patients on nutrition-related issues such as allergies, diabetes, weight management, and eating disorders.
• Educate patients on healthy eating habits.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust meal plans accordingly.
• Consult with healthcare professionals to ensure nutritional recommendations align with medical treatments.
• Keep records of patient information and progress.
• Develop promotional materials related to diet and nutrition.
