Job summary

Avanta Works in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. You will analyze data from various sources and translate findings into actionable reports and insights for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, at least 3 years’ experience, and proficiency with SAS or R. Knowledge of machine learning is a plus. This role offers steady growth and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Proven expertise working with quantitative data sets and SAS/R.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex insights in a clear manner.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quantitative data from multiple sources including customer surveys, market research, web analytics and more.
• Utilize statistical software to create visualizations that help analyze trends and uncover patterns in the data.
• Develop predictive models to forecast future outcomes based on current data.
• Collaborate with other analysts to develop recommendations and strategies based on data analysis.
• Create reports detailing the findings of the analysis and presenting them in a clear and concise manner.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that their needs are being met through the analysis process.
