Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience working as a Chemist in a laboratory environment.
• Excellent knowledge of scientific principles, theories, and techniques related to chemistry.
• Ability to use advanced laboratory equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments in the laboratory using a variety of analytical instruments and techniques to identify chemical substances.
• Analyze and interpret data from experiments on samples for quality control or research purposes.
• Prepare reports on experimental results for evaluation by management and other stakeholders.
• Develop new methods of testing or refining existing methods to improve accuracy or efficiency.
• Collaborate with colleagues on projects related to chemistry research or development.
• Keep up-to-date with advances in the field of chemistry through literature review and attending seminars/conferences.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations when handling hazardous materials and dispose of them properly when necessary.
