Job summary

Jing Hau is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The role manages all accounts, financial transactions, and compliance in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, have 3+ years of experience, GAAP knowledge, and be proficient with MS Office and SAP or QuickBooks. The position offers a competitive salary (1000 QAR/month) and benefits including medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports per established procedures.
• Close month-end accounts and ensure accuracy of records.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Analyze financial data and report trends or issues.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable.
• Maintain general ledgers.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Respond to billing/account inquiries.
• Monitor cash flow and expenses.
