Job summary

Flyper in Doha, Qatar is seeking an Accountant to handle daily accounting tasks and generate financial reports. The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and strong knowledge of accounting principles, with attention to detail. You will work in a multicultural environment with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate should be highly organized, able to forecast financial trends, and contribute to monthly closes and budgeting processes. This is a full-time position in our Doha office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent research and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting cycle including AP/AR, budgeting, payroll, GL entries, bank reconciliations, and reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements per accepted accounting principles.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Support month-end close with reconciliations, journal entries and analysis.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
• Analyze business operations to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with forecasting cash flow by reviewing historical trends.
