Overview

Dental Assistant vacancy in Doha, Qatar. Job Title: Dental Assistant. Location: Doha, Qatar. Salary: 1400 QAR per month. We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This is a great opportunity for an immigrant to join our expanding practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care and assisting with a variety of dental procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams, clean and sterilize instruments and equipment, and stock treatment room with supplies
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
  • Take patient medical histories, record vital signs and other related information
  • Prepare materials for impressions and restorations as directed by the dentist
  • Select appropriate materials such as impression trays, cements, composites and amalgams based on the dentist’s instructions
  • Make temporary crowns from preformed crowns or fabricate temporary crowns from amalgam or composite materials as instructed by the dentist
  • Monitor infection control procedures including sterilization techniques used by staff members
  • Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate\'s Degree in Dental Assisting preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a dental office as a Dental Assistant
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic instruments; knowledge of dental/oral anatomy; knowledge of OSHA standards related to dentistry
  • Exceptional customer service skills; ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication skills; attention to detail; multitasking skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
