Oracle E‑Business Suite
- Install, patch, clone, and maintain ERP instances.
- Monitor services, perform refreshes, manage access control.
- Backup / restore, WebLogic management, and performance tuning.
Oracle Database
- Install, patch, manage RAC, performance tuning, backup / recovery, automation.
- Implement security hardening and monitor through enterprise tools.
SQL Server
- Install, patch, maintain standalone / cluster instances.
- Manage logs, backups, security, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Act as Tier II focal point for production issues.
- Follow event and change management processes.
- Execute maintenance plans and availability management.
- Manage OS upgrades and configuration compliance.
- Maintain technical documentation.
Backup & Restore
- Maintain and update backup processes.
- Ensure minimal service disruption and prevent data loss.
- Maintain DR procedures and runbooks.
System / Technical Support
- Resolve system breakdowns or coordinate fixes.
- Ensure system health and performance.
- Recommend improvements based on system analysis.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certification in at least one database technology
- Oracle Applications DBA
- Microsoft SQL Server certifications
- MySQL 8.0 DBA
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (OS domain)
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience supporting Oracle E‑Business Suite, Oracle databases, OAM, and Microsoft SQL Server platforms.
