Job summary

FutureTech in Al-Rayyan, Qatar is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to operate mobile, tower or crawler cranes on construction sites. You will lift, move and position heavy materials following lifting plans and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of crane operation experience, a valid crane operator certification, and the ability to read blueprints. This role offers accommodation and a stable on-site work schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Crane Operator in construction.
• Valid crane operator certification from a recognized institution
• Knowledge of various types of cranes and their capabilities
• Ability to read blueprints and follow lifting plans
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Physically fit with the ability to work at heights

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of cranes such as mobile, tower, and crawler cranes
• Inspect and maintain cranes to ensure safe working condition
• Use hand signals or radios to communicate with other workers during lifting operations
• Safely lift and maneuver heavy materials such as steel beams and concrete blocks
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while operating the crane
• Keep accurate records of crane operations and maintenance activities
• Coordinate with site supervisors to plan lifting operations according to project requirements
