Job summary

Avanta Works is seeking an experienced Crane Operator for our Doha office to operate cranes safely and efficiently in compliance with regulations. The role includes loading, unloading, moving materials, and performing daily crane inspections while monitoring load weights to prevent overloading.

The successful candidate will follow all safety procedures and maintain accurate records of operations for future reference, drawing on prior crane operation experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in operating cranes is required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations pertaining to crane operation is essential.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints or drawings related to construction projects.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes in a safe and efficient manner according to company procedures and regulations.
• Load, unload, move and position materials and products using cranes.
• Perform daily inspection of the crane to ensure it is in good condition before use.
• Monitor the load weight and ensure that the crane is not overloaded.
• Follow all safety procedures while operating the crane to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Maintain accurate records of operations for future reference.
