Job summary

NovaMart Procurement seeks a Courier Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver packages in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. You will work with our dispatch team to plan routes and ensure timely deliveries while upholding great customer service.

Requirements include a valid driver's license with a clean record, ability to navigate by GPS/maps, physical fitness to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong time management. Previous courier experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Load and unload packages from the vehicle in a timely manner
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service during all interactions with clients
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
• Adhere to all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Courier Delivery Driver

As a Courier Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and documents to various locations in Al-Rayyan. You will work closely with our dispatch team to plan the most efficient routes and ensure timely deliveries. A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and company policies


• Load and unload packages from the vehicle in a timely manner


• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries


• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries


• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries


• Provide excellent customer service during all interactions with clients


• Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.


• Adhere to all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferably Class 5)


• Ability to navigate using GPS or map directions


• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds


• Excellent time management skills


• Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)


• Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred but not required
