Job summary

A financial services company in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced financial accountant to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and manage budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, be a Chartered Accountant, and possess 6-8 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Oracle ERP is essential, along with strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.

  • Experience working in Oracle ERP environment.

Overview

The objective is to ensure the accuracy and timely execution of financial accounting transactions while adhering to company policies, procedures, regulatory standards, and international standards.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting, cost control, budgeting, capital expenditures, external audits, policies, systems, processes, procedures, and statements and reports.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field
  • Chartered Accountant, i.e ACCA, CA or CPA is a must
Minimum Experience
  • 6-8 years experience, including relevant experience, preferably in a similar industry
  • Experience on working in Oracle ERP environment
  • Preparation , review and finalization of annual corporate budgets and detailed periodic review of budget Vs actual variances
