Job summary

A leading contract management firm in Doha is seeking a Contracts Engineer to manage the tendering process and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. The ideal candidate should possess an Engineering degree and at least 10 years of experience, including 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry. This role requires strong knowledge of contractual terms and excellent business writing skills, along with proficiency in common software applications.

Qualifications

  • Total 10 years of post-qualification experience, with minimum 5 years in contracts engineering or administration in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Preferably certifications in contracts and commercial areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the tendering process from receipt of request to contract finalization.
  • Assess and establish contractual conditions from tender to close out stage.
  • Oversee contractors' compliance to terms and conditions.

Overview

To lead the tendering process of the complete tendering cycle of specific high value and/or critical contracts as identified by Contracts Head i.e. from receipt of request received from sponsoring department(s) until award and contract finalization and supporting Sponsoring Department(s) in contractual/commercial administration and close out of these contracts meeting the requirements in a timely manner and in compliance with approved policies and procedures.

To assess and establish the contractual and commercial conditions of projects from tender to close out stage of contract works in accordance with approved policy and procedures and to oversee contractors' compliance to terms and conditions and the contractual deliverables and activities ensuring fulfilment of contract obligations as and when reported by user department.

Minimum Qualifications
