Job summary

Woopel in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Accountant on a contract basis with Egyptian nationality, biometric passport preferred, to join our finance team.

You will maintain accurate financial records, analyze data for budgeting, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, reconcile accounts, and support audits and tax compliance.

The contract requires full-time availability for the term.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting laws and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks or SAP.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with local laws.
• Analyze financial data and provide budget recommendations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and manage payables/receivables.
• Reconcile bank statements regularly.
• Assist with tax returns and compliance documents.
• Support external audits.
• Stay updated on changes in local accounting regulations.
