Job summary

SearchPlus HR is seeking a Consultant Periodontist for a leading dental/healthcare facility in Doha, Qatar. The candidate should have Western qualifications and extensive experience in periodontology, implants, and peri-implant care, with a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Key duties include diagnosing periodontal diseases, performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with dental teams.

Qualifications

• Recognized specialist qualification in Periodontology.
• Western qualifications from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
• Relevant consultant-level clinical experience.
• Eligibility for the Qatar DHP licensing classification.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and patient management skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage periodontal diseases and conditions affecting the gums and supporting structures of the teeth.
• Perform periodontal surgical and non-surgical treatments.
• Provide dental implant-related procedures and peri-implant disease management, within the scope of clinical privileges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive patient follow-up.
• Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to infection control and patient safety standards.
