Job summary

SylvCare for Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a senior ophthalmology consultant for a leading private/semi-government hospital in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on oculoplastics, orbital and lacrimal surgery within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards and compliance with MOPH revalidation.

Western-trained candidates are preferred, with 5+ years post-specialist experience and current QCHP license.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid QCHP (MOPH Qatar) license.
• Consultant-level qualification from FRCOphth/AB or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years post-specialist experience in ophthalmology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty in Oculoplastics/Orbital/Lacrimal.

Responsibilities

• Manage oculoplastic, orbital & lacrimal cases.
• Perform advanced functional and aesthetic surgeries.
• Work within a multidisciplinary ophthalmology department.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar MOPH standards & revalidation.
