Job summary

IMAR Trading and Contracting Co. in Doha seeks an experienced Project Accountant to manage project-level financials, control costs, and support project teams with accurate reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, at least 8 years of construction experience, and strong knowledge of project accounting and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP). GCC/Qatar experience is a plus. This is an on-site position in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Prior GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting activities including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
• Monitor project costs vs. budget and highlight variances.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and project cost reports.
• Ensure timely monthly financial reporting for assigned projects.
• Support procurement and subcontractor payment processes.
• Handle invoicing, progress billing, and client payments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
