Job summary

Airswift is recruiting for a Construction Lead (CP7S Piping) to work on a major offshore oil and gas project in Qatar. This long-term contract role requires extensive experience in large-scale construction, piping and mechanical disciplines, with offshore safety and regulatory awareness, and supervisory exposure.

The candidate will coordinate CTR activities, support PTW and progress meetings, and act as PMT focal for piping/mechanical tasks, ensuring delivery to schedule and safety standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
• 8 years' experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
• Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
• Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
• Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for offshore safety to promote a safe work environment.
• Accountable for offshore quality to support flawless delivery and start-up.
• Stewarding and facilitating CTR to deliver safely and as per schedule.
• PMT offshore focal point for Piping and Mechanical related TQs.
• Support PTW and offshore daily progress and PTW meetings with CTR.
• Support offshore HU Head as required.
• Attend HU meetings / document reviews / risk assessments etc as required.

Title: Construction Lead (CP7S Piping) Start Date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice) Location: Qatar Offshore Working Schedule: 7 days per week / 12 hours per day - 28 ON / 28 OFF
