Job description

SPIE Global Service Energy currently hiring for Commissioning Supervisor – Process for Onshore Project in Basra, Iraq.

Its a rotational role- 28/28

Job Purpose-

Lead and supervise commissioning and start-up activities related to Commissioning Supervisor – Process systems on the onshore oil & gas project. Ensure commissioning tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise commissioning of process systems (separators, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, utilities).
  • Plan and coordinate daily commissioning activities with technicians and engineers.
  • Ensure commissioning procedures and safety rules are strictly followed.
  • Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving during commissioning.
  • Validate test results, punch list clearance, and readiness for handover.
  • Coordinate with construction and operations teams to ensure system readiness.
  • Report progress and issues to the Commissioning Lead
Profile

Requirements-

  • Iraqi nationals from Basra region.
  • Engineering degree or technical diploma in Process Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in process commissioning, including supervisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of process equipment and systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, datasheets, and commissioning procedures.
  • Good leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Strong commitment to HSE practices.
