Job summary

PPOAR in the UAE seeks an experienced Civil and Structural Engineer to design, plan, and oversee construction projects in Ar-Ruwais. This role requires coordinating with architects, contractors, and other professionals while ensuring timely, compliant delivery.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in civil/structural engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong CAD skills (AutoCAD or Revit) and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed plans, designs and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project completion within budget and on time.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
• Review project proposals and suggest improvements or changes if necessary.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, health and safety standards.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed blueprints.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop realistic schedules for project completion.
