Job summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering drawings, designs, and specifications.
• Plan and supervise construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to approved designs and project requirements.
• Perform site inspections and monitor construction progress.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and other engineering teams.
• Calculate quantities, materials, costs, and project requirements.
• Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Review contractor submissions, method statements, shop drawings, and material approvals.
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, quantity estimation, and cost control.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Valid UPDA certification is required.
• Valid driving license is required.
• Relevant professional engineering certifications are an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering/design software.
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, engineering standards, and applicable building codes.
