Job summary

A leading organisation in Qatar is seeking a Chief Internal Auditor to build and lead the internal audit function. The successful candidate will ensure best-in-class governance, compliance, and risk management while reporting directly to the Board. Ideal candidates will possess 12–15 years of senior-level experience in Oil & Gas, Drilling, or Banking and strong auditing skills. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategy and deliver meaningful impact at the executive level.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Drilling or Banking at senior/managerial level.
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, risk management & controls.
• Confident leading audit strategy, reporting to Board/Audit Committees.

• CA / CPA / ACCA + Finance/Accounting degree (CIA / CISA desirable)
• 12–15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Drilling or Banking at senior/managerial level
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, risk management & controls
• Confident leading audit strategy, reporting to Board/Audit Committees
• Independent, proactive, and able to work without supervision
