Job summary

Candidzone L.L.C. in Qatar is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a dynamic FMCG/Consumer Goods business.

The ideal candidate holds a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and has extensive senior finance leadership experience in fast-moving consumer goods. You will lead budgeting, financial planning, treasury, reporting, and internal controls, partnering with the CEO and senior management to drive profitability, cash flow, and strategic investments.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Experience as CFO or senior finance leader.
• FMCG industry knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and long-term business planning.
• Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, and statutory financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and liquidity.
• Monitor FMCG-specific financial areas, including inventory, pricing, and margins.
• Analyze product profitability, operating expenses, and overall business performance.
• Establish internal controls and risk-management systems.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, auditing, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead annual audits and manage relationships with banks, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Oversee treasury, financing, and banking activities.

Requirements

• Strong FMCG industry knowledge, including distribution, inventory, pricing, margins, and trade promotions.
• Excellent expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial controls.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, negotiation, and leadership skills.
