Job summary

Oman OnlineConnect is seeking a Chemical Engineer to design, develop, and implement chemical processes and equipment in Ar-Ruwais. This full-time role offers a salary of $1000.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be capable of working independently as well as in a team. Responsibilities include research, equipment design, process monitoring, compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and project management from conception to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong understanding of chemistry physics and mathematics.
• Familiarity with process simulation software eg Aspen Plus.
• Excellent problem-solving analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Biometric passport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to develop new chemical processes or improve existing ones.
• Design and oversee the construction of equipment used in chemical processes.
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to solve complex problems.
• Manage projects from conception to completion including budgeting and scheduling.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
