As a Chemical Engineer specializing in process optimization, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving the efficiency of our production processes at our facility in Ar-Ruwais. Your role will involve utilizing your strong technical knowledge and expertise to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough evaluations of production processes and identifying areas for optimization
• Developing and implementing innovative strategies to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions
• Monitoring process performance through data analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve processes
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Chemical Engineer in a process optimization role
• Proven experience in improving process efficiency and reducing costs
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Knowledge of relevant software programs such as Aspen HYSYS or PRO/II is preferred
• Fluency in English is preferred but not required
