Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and energetic Chef to join our team in Doha. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement exciting new menus that will enhance our customers’ dining experience. You should be a passionate chef who is highly organized and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have experience in creating innovative culinary dishes while taking into consideration current food trends. An attractive salary of 1800 per month is offered for this role. We are also open to considering an immigrant for this position.

Responsibilities
  • As Chef, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen operations including menu planning, ordering supplies, setting up of buffets and plating dishes according to standards, monitoring food costs, supervising kitchen staff and ensuring that safety standards are met.
  • You will also need to develop recipes as well as create new dishes from existing ones while taking into consideration customer tastes and preferences.
  • Moreover, you will be required to keep up with current food trends by researching new recipes or techniques.
  • Additional responsibilities include conducting regular inventory checks, training staff on proper kitchen procedures, adhering to health codes regulations as well as overseeing special events when needed.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of culinary experience working in a professional kitchen
  • Experience with high-volume cooking techniques
  • Proven knowledge of international cuisine
  • Exceptional knife skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously
  • Bilingual proficiency in English & Arabic preferable but not required
