Job summary

Inspire Selection is looking for a dynamic country CFO for their operations in Doha, Qatar. This role involves managing all financial matters, overseeing financial accounting and treasury, and ensuring efficient working capital and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing sector, and must be a qualified accountant with strong communication and organizational skills. A salary of approximately 40,000 QAR is offered.

Job description

Our client manufactures and distributes building materials across the Middle East region. Now in a phase of expansion, they require a dynamic, self starting country CFO for their operations in Qatar.

The successful person will be responsible for managing all financial related matters as part of the senior management team.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Financial accounting & Treasury/Cash Management
• Working Capital Management
• Cash flow & cost management
• Due Diligence
• Fund Raising
• Preparation of various MIS reports & submissions of the same to the management
• Supervision of the day to day accounts of the company
• Handling the audit of the financials and assisting the auditors in completion of the audit by fulfilling the various audit requirements
• Strategic planning for optimum deployment of funds
• Debtors Control
• Supervision of the staff in the regular day-to-day accounting functions

Legal Issues

• Preparation of agreements & scrutiny of sub-contractor agreements
• Liaising with lawyers for various cases
• Preparation of legal letters & notices

Qualifications

• At Least 2 yrs experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry ideally
• Must have experience of implementing new policies and procedures
• Experience of imposing and managing change and development
• University Graduate
• Qualified Accountant
• Excellent communication and organization skills
