Job summary

India Abroad in Doha, Qatar is seeking a responsible Truck Driver to join our team. The role involves safely transporting goods, maintaining records, and complying with traffic laws.

The position is full-time with a monthly salary of 1,500 USD and accommodation provided. Requirements include a valid CDL, at least 3 years of trucking experience, good knowledge of Qatar roads, ability to read maps and follow GPS directions, physical strength for loading/unloading, and proficient English

Qualifications

• Valid CDL is required to drive commercial trucks.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a truck driver.
• Good knowledge of Qatar roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to read maps and follow GPS directions.
• Physical strength to load and unload goods as needed.
• Good communication skills in English; Malayalee speakers preferred.
• Clean driving record with no accidents or violations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to various locations.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure.
