Our company, a leading retail chain in Doha, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling transactions with customers accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and guide them to the appropriate products or services
• Ring up purchases and process payments using cash registers or other electronic devices
• Ensure pricing and quantities are accurate by verifying product information
• Bag, box or wrap merchandise according to customer requests
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to inform customers

Requirements

• Indian nationality with valid Qatar residency permit (preferred)
• Fluent in English (Arabic language skills is a plus)
• Proven working experience as a cashier or in a similar role
• Basic math skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma (college degree is a plus)

Salary: 1700$ per month + benefits (based on experience)

Contract type: Full-time, 1-year contract with possibility of extension
