Job summary

India Abroad in Doha is seeking a diligent Cashier to join our team. The role requires handling payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate balance sheets, with a focus on customer service.

The position is based in Doha, Qatar, offering a salary of 1,700 QAR per month. You will work five days a week for eight-hour shifts and receive training and support on the job to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and a helpful attitude.
• Organized and able to work independently and in a team.
• No experience required is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and identify their needs and requirements
• Receive payments from customers in cash or credit/debit cards
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
• Answer customer queries regarding payment options and other inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness of the checkout area.
