Cashier for Retail Store in Ar-Ruwais, UAE

Our retail store in Ar-Ruwais, UAE is currently seeking a Cashier to join our team. This is an urgent contract position that requires an English speaking individual with experience in cash handling and customer service. We welcome applicants from the Philippines and Kenya, but this is not a strict requirement.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently. You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from customers. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process their purchases at the cash register
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist with stocking shelves and restocking products as needed
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred
• Experience working with cash registers or point of sale systems
• Fluent in English (Filipino or Kenyan language skills are a plus)
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this position.
