Asset Protection Officer
Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations of events and situations referred to the department.
- Perform CCTV monitoring (online and on-demand evaluation of recordings).
- Coordinate personnel positioning for newly hired cashier/pharmacy aides and pharmacists when requested by Kulud Management.
- Send records of all examinations and cases to the appropriate authority and to the concerned department manager.
- Conduct surprise branch visits and perform cash discrepancy checks.
- Supervise the implementation of projects such as CCTV installation, GPS installations, and smoke alarm maintenance evaluations of specialists.
- Maintain CCTV systems, including routine checks across pharmacy branches; address maintenance issues and keep maintenance logs.
- Manage security at selected firm facilities, including IMC Shop and Kulud Shop.
- Review CCTV recordings for missing check-ins/outs of teams as required.
- Handle departmental admin requirements, maintain office tools and facilities.
- Perform other responsibilities as instructed by the CEO, DCEO and APM.
Qualifications
- Bachelor level degree, preferably related to IT or electrical fields.
- Qatar driver’s license, ideally with a vehicle.
- 4–5 years of experience in asset security/loss prevention in a retail environment.
- Extensive knowledge of CCTV procedures and preventative maintenance; system setup experience.
- Experienced private investigator with strong investigative abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, preferably in English.
- Strong team player, adaptable to fast-changing workplace and scenarios.
- Experience in case management, protection and safety administration is preferred.
- Local candidates preferred.
Compensation
Job Type: Permanent. Salary: From QAR 4,000 per month.
