Job summary

Work standard seeks an experienced Carpenter in Doha, Qatar. The role involves constructing wood structures such as furniture, doors and windows, measuring and cutting materials to exact specs, installing fixtures and fittings, and assembling components to ensure client satisfaction.

The candidate should have at least two years in construction carpentry, be able to read blueprints, and lift up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and constructing wood structures such as furniture, doors, windows and other related items. You will be required to measure and cut materials accurately, install fixtures and fittings, assemble components and ensure that the finished product meets client expectations.

Requirements for the Candidate:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in construction carpentry or a related field
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools and materials
• Excellent eye for detail
• Aptitude for problem solving and creative thinking
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
• Flexible schedule with the availability to work overtime when needed
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
