Job summary

SwiftMove Logistics in Lusail, Qatar is seeking a skilled Carpenter Supervisor to lead a team of carpenters and ensure timely, high-quality project completion. The role requires strong leadership, communication in English, and the ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities include guiding the crew, reviewing plans, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, inspecting work, and maintaining tool inventories. Accommodation and visa sponsorship are provided as part of a full-time package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of carpenters and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Review project plans and blueprints to determine materials, tools, and techniques required.
• Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members.
• Monitor progress and ensure that projects are being completed on time and within budget.
• Inspect completed work for quality control.
• Troubleshoot any issues or problems that may arise during construction.
• Train new employees on company procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects.
