Job summary

SwiftMove Logistics is seeking a Carpenter Supervisor for our Lusail, Qatar project. You will oversee a team of carpenters, review plans, assign tasks, and ensure projects meet time and budget goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication in English, and the ability to read blueprints. Preference for candidates with Arabic language skills and a commitment to onsite construction excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools and materials.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project plans.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of carpenters and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Review project plans and blueprints to determine materials tools and techniques required.
• Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members.
• Monitor progress and ensure that projects are being completed on time and within budget.
• Inspect completed work for quality control.
• Troubleshoot any issues or problems that may arise during construction.
• Train new employees on company procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory of materials tools and equipment needed for projects.
