Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role based in Doha, Qatar. The Caregiver will provide direct personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility support, and meal preparation. The role includes monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition, following care plans, and supporting basic health and safety routines. The Caregiver will offer companionship, encourage client independence where possible, and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. The position may also involve light housekeeping tasks related to client care and adherence to all organizational policies and infection control standards.

Qualifications

Experience in personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, and basic mobility support. Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills when interacting with clients and families. Ability to follow care plans, observe and report health changes, and maintain accurate basic documentation. Knowledge of basic hygiene, safety, and infection control practices in home or residential care settings. Demonstrated compassion, patience, reliability, and respect for client dignity and cultural preferences. Previous caregiving, nursing aide, or home health aide experience preferred; newborn or elderly care experience is an advantage. Relevant caregiving certification or training is preferred; willingness to complete required training is essential. Ability to work full-time on-site in Doha, Qatar, including potential shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Basic English communication skills required; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an asset.
