Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Buyer to support procurement for the Measurement Systems & Solutions business. You will create and process purchase orders, obtain supplier quotations, follow deliveries, and resolve PO and invoice issues to ensure material availability.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Service Management to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks while maintaining accurate ERP records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement, or related field.
• 2-3 years of purchasing/procurement/supply chain experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.

Job Summary

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or materials management.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management practices.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, APICS, ASCM, or SAP Certification.
• Experience in manufacturing, project-based, or industrial procurement environments.
• Knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier development, and inventory management.
• Experience supporting cost optimization and localization programs.
• Understanding of supply chain risk management principles.
