Role Purpose
Lead the development and maintenance of business architecture artefacts that connect GTA strategy, capabilities, value streams, services, processes and organisational responsibilities. The role supports evidence-based investment, transformation prioritisation and enterprise-wide alignment with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business capability maps, value streams, business service catalogues and business architecture viewpoints.
- Analyse strategic objectives, stakeholder needs and operating-model changes; translate them into business architecture requirements and roadmaps.
- Establish traceability between strategy, capabilities, services, processes, applications and initiatives in the EA repository.
- Work with business owners and Business Analysts to validate current-state and target-state models, gaps, dependencies and priorities.
- Support enterprise transformation, portfolio decisions and impact assessments through clear architecture insights and recommendations.
- Apply and promote EA governance, modelling standards and quality controls; contribute to Architecture Review Board material where required.
- Facilitate workshops and communicate architecture findings to business and technology stakeholders.
- Contribute to the EA content framework, reference models, principles, KPIs and continuous-improvement activities.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Experience
At least 5 years of relevant experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, business transformation, operating-model design, or a closely related role.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Certification
TOGAF certification is required or strongly preferred. Business Architecture Guild (CBA), ArchiMate, BPMN, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent credentials are advantageous.
Domain Knowledge
Experience in government, tax, financial services, or large complex organisations is preferred.
Language
Arabic Native Speaker
Very good Business English
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Practical knowledge of TOGAF and business architecture concepts, including capability-based planning and value-stream modelling.
- Ability to model and analyse capabilities, services, processes, information needs, stakeholders and organisational relationships.
- Working knowledge of ArchiMate and BPMN; experience using EA or process-modelling tools is preferred.
- Strong facilitation, analytical writing, stakeholder-management and presentation skills.
- Ability to turn complex business information into concise, decision-ready architecture views.
- Proven working experience in producing Business Architecture Diagrams on EA tools (Orbus OrbusInfinity, Bizzdesign , SAP)
