Job summary

Qatar National Bank (QNB) is seeking highly accurate and customer-focused bilingual bank tellers to manage daily financial transactions across our Doha branch network. The role requires Arabic and English fluency and strict adherence to KYC/AML protocols.

You will execute high-volume cash transactions, support cheque clearances and foreign exchange, and balance cash with the core banking ledger at day end. Career progression into management is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant financial or business discipline.
• Exceptional bilingual communication skills (Arabic and English).
• Must pass CID and Credit Bureau background checks for Qatar Central Bank approval.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute high-volume cash transactions, cheque clearances, and foreign exchange operations with zero error margin.


• Identify and prevent fraudulent transactions by strictly applying QCB-mandated KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML protocols.


• Balance the physical cash drawer against the core banking system ledger at the close of every business day.


• Actively cross-sell retail banking products (credit cards, personal loans, savings plans) to walk-in customers to meet branch targets.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant financial or business discipline.


• Language: Exceptional bilingual communication skills (Arabic and English) are strictly required.


• Clearance: Must pass comprehensive CID and Credit Bureau background checks to secure Qatar Central Bank approval.
