Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking a BD700 type rated captain to command Bombardier BD700 aircraft in Doha. The role requires 5,000+ hours total time, 2,000+ hours on jet aircraft, and a current ATPL with strong leadership. You will ensure regulatory compliance and lead flight operations in a demanding international environment.

Responsibilities include flight planning, pre/post flight duties, and maintaining aviation safety standards while delivering premium executive aviation services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5000 hours total flight time on aeroplane
• Minimum 2000 hours on jet aircraft
• Minimum 1500 hours as pilot in command on multi crew jet aircraft
• Minimum 500 hours on BD700 or similar type rated aircraft
• Valid ICAO, EASA, or FAA ATPL license
• Current Class 1 Medical Certificate
• Valid Instrument Rating or previous holding
• English language proficiency level 4 or higher
• Recent jet flight experience within the last 12 months
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Operate Bombardier BD700 aircraft as pilot in command
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety procedures
• Conduct detailed flight planning and performance calculations
• Perform pre-flight inspections and post-flight reporting
• Manage cockpit operations and coordinate with flight crew
• Monitor weather and air traffic conditions for safe navigation
• Maintain accurate flight documentation and logs
• Deliver safe, efficient, and professional flight operations
• Uphold high standards of discipline and professionalism
