Job summary

Arab Solutions is seeking a Manager Operational Resilience to develop and manage the organization’s Business Continuity Management program, ensuring processes, frameworks, and plans are in place to respond to and recover from disruptions.

The role will oversee crisis management, disaster recovery, risk assessments, and coordination across divisions, with emphasis on stakeholder communication and readiness to act during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Business Continuity Management and Operational Resilience.
• Experience in Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery and Business Recovery.
• Strong risk assessment and business impact analysis capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple business divisions and manage complex recovery activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an organization-wide BCM framework and program covering disaster recovery, business recovery, and emergency response requirements across all divisions.
• Manage crisis management procedures during disruptions including activation of recovery plans and coordination with managers and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain data backup and recovery plans including site assessments for divisions located outside Qatar.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with interdependent divisions to identify and resolve BC issues.
• Act as the key contact for business continuity and disaster recovery queries.
• Identify interdependencies between divisions, especially during crises.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential business continuity risks and vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to implement and maintain BC and DR plans.
• Support the organization in maintaining readiness to respond and recover from disruptions.

Role Objective

The Manager Operational Resilience will be responsible for developing maintaining and managing the organization s Business Continuity Management Program The role will ensure that appropriate processes frameworks and plans are in place to enable the organization to effectively respond to and recover from business disruptions

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an organization-wide Business Continuity Management BCM framework and program covering disaster recovery business recovery and emergency response requirements across all divisions
• Manage crisis management procedures during business disruptions including activation of recovery plans restoration of critical operations and coordination with relevant managers and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain data backup and recovery plans including the selection and assessment of backup sites for various divisions and entities including those located outside Qatar Ensure that primary and backup sites meet required resilience availability and operational standards
• Establish and maintain effective communication with all interdependent divisions across the organization to ensure timely identification and resolution of business continuity issues
• Act as the key point of contact for business continuity and disaster recovery-related queries from divisions and employees
• Identify and assess interdependencies between different business divisions and activities particularly during crisis situations
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential business continuity risks and vulnerabilities as required
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans
• Support the organization in maintaining its readiness to respond to and recover from business interruptions emergencies and crisis events
