Qualifications

• Experience as a bartender in hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper and adequate bar setup daily, including stock and supplies.
• Stock management and garnishes preparation to ensure product quality.
• Greet guests courteously and take/document drink orders.
• Input orders into POS and balance cash transactions.
• Create and serve a range of beverages including cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Assist floor team with deliveries and take food orders as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the service area.

As a Bartender/Mixologist , you’re not just preparing and serving drinks – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you'll do during a typical day:

• -Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basises. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily forecast.
• -Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality.
• -Greet guests in a corteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks, mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks suing standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
• -Demonstrate knowledge of liqour laws.
• -Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner
• -Input orders into the point of sale system and creates a check for each guest and personnel guests, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served.
• -Create and serve a range of beverages including classic cocktails, mixers, beer, wine and soft drinks etc.
• -Take food orders and assist the floor team with deliveries as required
• -Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies of charges, records charges, and ensures receipts are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys.
• -Locks up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops.
• -Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities
• -Keep your service area clean, tidy, and well-prepared
• -Answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner.
• -Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Must follow specific uniform guidelines assigned for the position.
