Job summary

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North is seeking a friendly Barista (Seasonal) to craft delicious beverages and deliver exceptional guest service in a vibrant hotel setting.

You will operate coffee equipment, follow recipes, maintain a clean bar, handle busy periods, and work flexible hours including mornings, weekends, and holidays. Experience is preferred but a passion for coffee and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso drinks is a plus.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
• Punctual, reliable and a team player.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift items.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee and espresso drinks.
• Greet guests and provide menu recommendations.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers).
• Maintain consistency by following recipes and quality standards.
• Keep the coffee bar, workstations and seating areas clean and organized.
• Stock and replenish beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed.

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies.
• Greet and interact with guest in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about the menu.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
• Ensure consistency in drink preparation by following recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, workstations, and seating areas.
• Stock and replenish coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed.
