Job summary

Nair Systems LLC in Qatar seeks an experienced Linux and Windows System Administrator in the banking domain to install, configure, secure, and maintain enterprise server environments on a full-time onsite basis.

You will monitor performance, apply security patches, manage AD and access controls, coordinate with DB, network, and security teams, and ensure high availability for mission-critical financial applications in a regulated banking context.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in enterprise Linux and Windows administration.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure in banking or financial services.
• Proficient in Linux distros (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/Rocky) and Windows Server.
• Strong skills in AD, access controls, and security hardening.
• Experience with patch management and kernel upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, secure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Monitor performance, capacity, health, and availability of services.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and privileged access control.
• Apply patching, OS upgrades, and security updates.
• Troubleshoot OS-level issues and outages; maintain logs and audits.
• Coordinate with DBAs, network engineers, and security teams.
• Maintain documentation, baselines, and SOPs.
